The Sir Prize avocado is a hybrid variety developed by UC Riverside (and a grandchild of the ”Hass” avocado) known for its large size, early maturity, and rich, buttery flavor. Thin, leathery, and dark green, shifting to purplish-black when ripe. It features a characteristic ridge along one side.
